ICI Bucharest, awarded for its involvement in promoting intellectual property at IP DAY 2025

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest was awarded a recognition diploma from InfoCons while participating in the event dedicated to World Intellectual Property Day, held on Monday, May 12, 2025.

The diploma was offered as a sign of appreciation for ICI Bucharest's active contribution to the promotion and protection of intellectual property and for the development of the Enikvers project, an advanced intellectual property protection system, being the first European initiative with global applicability in securing digital visual concepts.

The event was organised by InfoCons, the Working Group on Intellectual Property Issues (GLDPI) and the Romanian Copyright Office (ORDA), under the patronage of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This marked a series of activities carried out under the theme "Be Original! Stop Counterfeiting and Piracy!", within the framework of World Intellectual Property Day - IP DAY 2025.

ICI Bucharest reaffirms its commitment to supporting innovation, creativity, and the protection of intellectual property rights, continuing to actively contribute to developing impactful projects, such as Enikvers, that bring tangible benefits to education, technology, and digital culture.
