ICI Bucharest Secures Nikola Tesla’s Legacy for the Digital Age
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is redefining how cultural heritage is preserved and shared in the digital era.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, represented by Adrian Victor Vevera, General Manager, and Danubius Exim, a Romanian company in the field of digital technology and security, represented by Velin Ganev, CEO, concluded today, May 23, 2025, a partnership protocol aimed at collaborating on research, innovation and digitalization projects.
The agreement, signed at the headquarters of ICI Bucharest, marks the beginning of a collaboration between two entities with complementary expertise in the field of information technology, cybersecurity and digital transformation.
“The partnership with Danubius Exim complements ICI Bucharest’s efforts to strengthen the national innovation ecosystem and support strategic projects. Together, we aim to develop secure, efficient and scalable solutions adapted to the digital needs of modern Romania,” said Adrian Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
The partnership protocol foresees the initiation of joint projects in areas such as cybersecurity, digital identity, artificial intelligence, blockchain and critical IT infrastructures. At the same time, professional training initiatives and participation in European and international research consortia are envisaged.

ICI Bucharest organises the workshop "Harmonising Cybersecurity: Bridging Civilian and Defence Paradigms", an event dedicated to strengthening the collaboration between the civil and defence sectors in the field of cybersecurity. The event will take place in a hybrid format on September 11, 2025, at the ICI Bucharest headquarters and online.
On 30.06.2025, the financing contract for the project "INCLUSIVE - Employment services for young people, including NEETs", ID 337158, co-financed by the European Union through the Education and Employment Programme 2021 - 2027, Priority: P02 "Developing the potential of young people on the labour market (Youth employment)" was signed.
