Universitatea „Ovidius” Constanţa, Facultatea de Matematică şi Informatică, a decernat în data de 19.11.2009 titlul de „Doctor Honoris Causa” doamnei Prof.dr.ing. Doina Banciu, director general al Institutului Naţional de Cercetare-Dezvoltare în Informatică, I.C.I. Bucureşti.

ICI Bucharest took part on Friday, 7 August 2026, represented by Adrian-Victor Vevera, Director General, in the ceremony held at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bucharest to mark the 59th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.
