The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is organising, between March 10–12, 2026, the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2026 (DISB 2026), an international event dedicated to digital transformation, to be held at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest.
Held under the High Patronage of the President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Government of Romania, DISB 2026 brings together decision-makers, international experts, representatives of academia, industry, and public administration to debate the most relevant topics shaping the present and future of the digital world.
The Summit integrates a series of conferences with a long-standing national and international tradition:
- Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum (CIP Forum) – 9th edition, focused on dual-use technologies and artificial intelligence;
- International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy (ICCD) – 5th edition;
- Blockchain Intelligence Forum – 2nd edition;
- International Conference on Virtual Learning (ICVL) – 21st edition;
- National Conference on Virtual Education (CNIV) – 24th edition.
The DISB 2026 agenda will address topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, blockchain, digital governance, digital education, and international cooperation in emerging technologies.
