Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS), the largest aviation event in Romania and one of the most important in Europe, takes today, August 18, 2025, a revolutionary step in the world of aviation, together with the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), by launching its official collection of NFTs "Cloud Chasers". This unique digital collection offers fans, enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to own a part of the history of air shows, secured and authentic through blockchain technology.
What are NFTs, and what do "Cloud Chasers" bring?
NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are unique digital certificates, stored on the blockchain, that prove the ownership and authenticity of a digital object. Unlike other types of digital files, NFTs cannot be copied or replaced; each one is unique in its own way.
The “Cloud Chasers” collection captures the most spectacular moments in BIAS history, with exclusive images from previous editions transformed into digital works that bring each flight and aerial acrobatics to life.
What’s in the collection?
The collection is limited to 50 NFTs. 15 special “Stratosphere VIP” editions offer exclusive access to real-life aviation experiences, such as meetings with pilots, early access to autograph sessions and entry to the VIP area of the show. The other 35 “Sky Legends” NFTs artistically recreate key moments from BIAS shows, offering a unique digital experience.
How can collectors buy?
All “Cloud Chasers” NFTs are available on the official ICI D|SERVICES platform: http://nft.ici.ro/cloud-chasers, developed by ICI Bucharest. Users can purchase NFTs using digital wallets compatible with the MultiversX blockchain technology (EGLD). Thus, collectors around the world can keep an authentic fragment of the atmosphere of BIAS shows, in a modern and secure format.

ICI Bucharest organises the workshop "Harmonising Cybersecurity: Bridging Civilian and Defence Paradigms", an event dedicated to strengthening the collaboration between the civil and defence sectors in the field of cybersecurity. The event will take place in a hybrid format on September 11, 2025, at the ICI Bucharest headquarters and online.
On 30.06.2025, the financing contract for the project "INCLUSIVE - Employment services for young people, including NEETs", ID 337158, co-financed by the European Union through the Education and Employment Programme 2021 - 2027, Priority: P02 "Developing the potential of young people on the labour market (Youth employment)" was signed.
