As a result of the resignations submitted by 9 members of the ICI Bucharest Scientific Board, this board has been self-dissolved according to art. 18 of the Regulation of Organization and Operation, starting with 18.10.2017. According to the decision of the Administrative Committee dated 30.10.2017, the organization of new elections, which took place on 22.11.2017, between 12:00 and 14:00, was approved.

Starting August 3rd, 2017 the new general director of the National Institute of Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest) is Dr. Adriana ALEXANDRU, through MCSI Order no. 778 / 03.08.2017 signed by the Minister of Communications and Information Society, Mr. Lucian ŞOVA. At the same time, she is also the chairman of the board of the same institution.
