The event is part of an ENISA project regarding promotion of national policies in the area of securing critical informational infrastructures. The Seminar aims to disseminate the results of the first pan-European drill regarding securing critical informational infrastructure, Cyber Europe 2010. The event was attended by representatives from the main institutions that have responsibilities in the area of cyber security, protection of critical informational infrastructures and national security: Presidential Administration, MCSI, MApN, MAI, SRI, SIE, STS and ANCOM.
The Romanian National Computer Security Incident Response Team – CERT-RO is a special Department of ICI BUCHAREST, and a Centre of Excellence on matters related to security of information, equipments, network, and information systems. It concentrates the interest of IT&C experts and national authorities on issues of cyberspace security.
The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) is a European Union body created in 2004, able to respond and to prevent problems related to information security.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest represents the most important Institute for research, development and innovation in Information Technology and Communications in Romania.
