Casa Botizan

House from Stramtura is one of the oak buildings, restored in the museum. The house plan consists of: a store room, an entrance hall, a room and a porch on the front side.In situ it had one more room subsequently added in front of the store room, which was removed during restoration works as being of no importance. The entrance door frame has several signs (marks) engraved in wood, as well as an inscription written in the Romanian Cyrilic, from which one can read only Lord's year - 1700 -...Pop..., probably the name of the original owner. The inscription has on either side solar or star emblems, Christian symbols and stylized birds.
