INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
His Beatitude Teoctist, the Patriarch of the Romanian Christian Orthodox Church, concluded Visit to the Vatican
His Beatitude Teoctist concluded visit to the Vatican. After the mass at Saint Peters' Cathedral Teoctist delivered his sermon devoted to the difficulties of the ecumenical dialog at present. Teoctist insisted on the necessity of having a more profound wish of the churches of Europe for unity in the conditions in which international organizations are not concerned with the unity and cooperation of the Church.
In his turn Pope John Paul II had already delivered numerous sermons on the fact that the Christian Orthodox and the Roman Catholic Churches are living in deep harmony of the communion of spirit while the wish to unite the two churches is acquiring scope, reports ROMANIAN RADIO BROADCASTING CORPORATION.
