Press Conference of the National Liberal Party
Deputy leader of the liberal parliamentary group MP Eugen Nicolaescu said in the press conference that took place earlier that the increases of prices of power, thermal energy and fuels have already been planned and have been part of the accords signed with international financial bodies. It is in these conditions that the Cabinet, says Eugen Nicolaescu, should adopt measures for the citizens to cope with the newly increased prices, reports ROMANIAN RADIO BROADCASTING CORPORATION.
National Liberal Party is Requesting the President of Romania Not to Sign the Bill of Law of Public Finances
The Coordinator of the Department for Education of the National Liberal Party Adrian Miroiu has requested the President of Romania Ion Iliescu not to sign the Bill of Law of Public Finances as this would reduce to zero University financial autonomy. Adrian Miroiu believes that the enacting of this Bill of Law would make Romanian University Education go back to the interval before 1989 risking to force reopening of negociations with the European Union in this domain, informs ROMANIAN RADIO BROADCASTING CORPORATION.
