County Conference of the National Liberal Party - PNL

The city of Brasov is hosting, with the President of the Party Valeriu Stoica in attendance, the county conference of the National Liberal Party. ROMANIAN RADIO BROADCASTING CORPORATION informs that in the next two years the county organization of the National Liberal Party will build DRACULA RASNOV, a project that has generated many controversies with the Ministry of Tourism, as DRACULA PARK is being built near the town of Sighisoara, over a range of mountains North of the city of Brasov.
In connection with the activity of the Cabinet, the vicepresident of the National Liberal Party Andrei Chiliman voiced the view that due to less than popular measures of late the electorate of the Social Democratic Party will migrate toward the Greater Romania Party, especially in the cities and towns of this country, such as the city of Brasov.

At the November Summit of NATO the Cabinets of the United States and the European Allies Could Invitet Seven Countries to Join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization

ROMANIAN RADIO BROADCASTING CORPORATION quotes an editorial released by WASHINGTON POST in which the author writes that it was very probable that at the Prague
Summit in the Fall seven countries would be invited to join NATO, among them being Romania and Bulgaria. The initiative makes sense, the article reads, without any shade of a doubt for both the United States and for Europe. The WASHINGTON POST also reads in the editorial that the Bush Administration was sure that European integration after the Cold War Era promoted American values and the leadership of Washington in Europe. Despite their rather small armies of limited capacity some of the new allies may make substantial contribution.Romania and Bulgaria are placed between former Yugoslavia and Turkey and could contribute thousands of military to the Balkan operations by replacing American troops in Kosovo and Bosnia. Both European countries are supporting the American operations in Afghanistan and could be useful in case an operation against Irak is mounted.
Geoana had talks with the Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Pique who said that if the tempo of opening chapters and negociations continue there is no reason not to conclude all chapters of negociation for adherence to the European Union this year.
During the same talk stress was laid on the support of Spain for Romania's NATO accession, adds the main news channel of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation.
