Henri Coanda (1886-1972)

Romanian engineer, specialist in aerodynamics

He have made, in 1910 December 14, the first aeroreactive flight in the world, with an airplane built by himself and propelled by a motoreactor. He have built many planes, known by the name Bristol-Coanda.

In 1934 he had discovered the effect that is named in the whole world "Coanda Effect", with important practical applications in several domains.
