GABRIEL LIICEANU

Writer, philosopher and anticommunist militant, born in 1942 at Ramnicu-Valcea. Filology Faculty and the Classical Languages Faculty in Bucharest. Doctorate in philosophy, in 1976, with the thesis: Tragicul. O fenomenalogie a limitei si depasirii. Important works: Jurnalul de la Paltinis (1983), Apel catre lichele (1992), Cearta cu filozofia (1992) s.o. Director of the Humanitas Publishing House. Professor at the Philosophy Faculty from Bucharest.
